The iT100 is a non-contact biometric device that fuses both iris and facial recognition technologies. It operates in iris only, face only, and/or iris-face fusion modes. It is designed to offer a large capture volume for greater flexibility, speed, and convenience. Enhanced security is ensured through Secure Boot, while the open Android platform provides opportunities for third-party application development.
IrisTime™ is a fully customizable time and attendance platform designed to meet the needs of organizations small and large, from Iris ID, the global leader in iris recognition technology for 25 years. The platform uses dual biometric iris and face recognition capabilities to authenticate identities quickly, accurately, and conveniently. Resident Android-based applications then process payroll and may calculate many other benefits such as health, disability, attestation questions, and vacation. Iris ID currently provides iris-based authentication systems for leading time and attendance solution suppliers such as Paychex, SimplyWork, and other global enterprise customers.

Iris ID provides a comprehensive set of development tools for the IrisTime iT100 TimeClock. The platform supports the RESTful application program interface (API) enabling the device to work as an on-demand data aggregator. Well-documented examples to aid the development community are available.
Device management tools will be part of the application console. IrisTime includes the iTMS (IrisTime Management Services) application to manage the device on networks. iTMS functionality will also be available in API form to enable software developers to integrate device management in custom applications.

The IrisTime™ iT100 is Iris ID’s non-contact time & attendance biometric offering that features both iris and facial recognition technology. Automatic recognition of iris and/or face is possible. A large capture volume allows for increased flexibility, speed, and convenience. Enhanced security through Secure Boot and an open Android Platform provides an opportunity for third party application development.
The IrisTime™ iT100 uses infrared light in conjunction with a digital video camera to simultaneously capture a picture of the employee’s face and irises. The infrared light illuminates the employee, and the video camera captures the images. These images are analyzed by algorithms to create mathematical representations of each known as templates. When an individual is enrolled in the iT100, templates are created and stored in memory. The templates become the reference templates for future identification attempts. Reverse engineering this template into the face or iris image of the person who used it is impossible due to the high data compression and proprietary mathematical formula of the algorithm.
Iris is the most accurate biometric; however, by combining face with iris we deliver convenience with the highest accuracy. In environments where part of the workforce needs to use a mask or hardhat, face biometrics alone can struggle. Providing both iris and face — and the flexibility to pick the modality for individual identification — makes it possible to identify 100% of individuals, 100% of the time, in any condition.
